Rigid gift boxes (also called lid-and-base or telescope boxes) are used when a folding carton is not enough: perfume, jewelry, and prestige sets that need a heavy wrap, a tight lid, and an insert that holds the bottle.
Typical specification: greyboard core, printed wrap, soft-touch or matte lamination, foil stamp, optional deboss, and EVA, velvet, or paperboard fitments. Sampling for rigid boxes is 7–10 days; bulk is usually 20–30 working days after approval. Standard MOQ is 5,000 pcs; smaller runs can be quoted.
